Kitesurfing

At Malibu Coastal Adventures, our kitesurfing lessons are held at a scenic local beach in Malibu. These lessons are structured on an hourly basis, with the best time being in the afternoon when the wind becomes favorable, typically around 1 or 2pm.

During the initial sessions, we prioritize safety and proficiency by conducting the lessons on the beach itself. This allows our knowledgeable instructors to guide you through the correct and secure techniques of kite handling.
Our progressive curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience. We start with an introduction to the sport and the equipment used, ensuring that you are well-versed in all aspects of kitesurfing. You will become proficient in reading wind conditions accurately, a crucial skill for this thrilling activity.

To cultivate your kite control skills, we provide hands-on training with a trainer kite, allowing you to master the fundamental techniques. As you gain confidence and proficiency, you will progress to flying larger kites while wearing a proper harness.

Once you have achieved proficiency in kite handling, we introduce you to the water element of kitesurfing. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of safely entering the water and experiencing the exhilaration of kitesurfing.

Moreover, we understand that owning personal gear is an important milestone for any kite surfer. Therefore, we offer guidance and recommendations on purchasing your own equipment, ensuring that you make informed choices tailored to your individual needs.
