A Fun Family Goes On a Boat Adventure With Their Dog

It was a little overcast as we left the harbor, but everyone was in good spirits and the sun was predicted for the afternoon.   We arrived at the ‘Seal Lion” bouy a short time later and they were greeted by a dozen of the cutest little sea lions all lounging around. The dog took great interest in these very ‘dog like’ creatures.   On the way up to Malibu for some paddleboarding, we came across a huge pod of dolphin. They put on quite a show and, needless to say, the dog was fascinated by these unusual ocean creatures.         We arrived at the Malibu Pier and wasted no time getting them out on paddleboards, and after a quick lesson they were off.     While dad fished, the dog couldnt take seeing everyone out on the paddleboards and had to get in on the act.       Everyone had a wonderful experience..especially the family...

An Incredible Whale, Dolphin & Sea Lion Encounter !

Today we had one of the best, close up whale encounters this year ! We left the harbor under sunny skies and a perfectly smooth ocean. We arrived at the navigational bouy and while most of the adult the Sea Lions were sleeping, the babies were intrigued with us and swan right up to the boat.     It didn’t take long to located the Grey Whales. They put on quite a show. At one point a mother and calf came whithin 20 feet from the boat!         The dolphin were actually playing with the whales as well as with us.     Next we pulled into a scenic little cove and after a quick paddleboard lesson, Jason and Lisa were off to explore the kelp forests.       Sensing Lisa’s sense of adventure, I suggested being towed on the paddleboard behind the boat and she jumped at the chance.     It was an amazing adventure for them with a close up whale, dolphin, and sea lion encounters and memories that will last a lifetime!  ...

An Incredible Whale/Dolphin/Sea Lion Experience

We headed out of Marina Del Rey Harbor under cloudless skies and perfectly calm ocean waters. Just outside of the harbor we encountered hundreds of dolphin. They stayed with us and played with the boat for about 20 minutes giving everyone a chance to get within a couple of feet away from these sleek, beautiful mammals.     On the way to Palos Verdes Penninsula we stopped by a navigational bouy to check out the Sea Lions.   One little baby sea lion got so curious about the funny look people watching him that he actually swam to the back of the boat and jumped on to say hi.       The little guy was so friendly he even let me pet him!!!   We continued on to Palos Verdes and had some amazing close encounters with no less than 8 Gray Whales.       Next it was time for some paddle boarding lessons and snorkeling in the kelp forests.         It was truly an amazing...

A NY Couples’ Boat Adventure

We just took out a really nice couple from New York on a dolphin/whale watching, diving, paddleboarding tour to the Palos Verdes Penninsula. We had perfect weather and smooth seas as we arrived to the outer bouys where the sea lions love to hang out.   We continued out to the Palos Verdes Penninsula and encountered Whales and Dolphin along the way.     The water was clear and warm so I suggested some snorkeling. Within minutes they were in the wetsuits and out paddleboarding and diving the California kelp forests.   Ari was feeling adventurous, so I tossed out the tow rope and towed him behind the boat.   It was a great coastal...
