A Fun Dolphin Watching / Paddle Boarding Adventure

Posted by Dave Ogle on Apr 10, 2015 in Malibu Coastal Adventures | 0 comments We took out 2 Pepperdine grads and their moms on a fun dolphin watching / paddle boarding adventure on a beautiful spring day.   First stop… the sea lion bouy.   On the way up to Malibu, we encountered multiple pods of dolphin that played with the boat and gave them quite a show.       It was a beautiful ride up to the Malibu area.   We arrived at the Malibu Pier, and after a quick paddleboard lesson they were off to explore our local waters.           The daughters were adventurous and when I mentioned that they could be towed on the paddleboards behind the boat, they jumped at the chance.         It was an awesome trip and a great way to finish their Malibu educational adventure!  ...

An Incredible Winter Family Boat Adventure

A Fun Malibu Coastal Cruise & Paddleboard Lesson

We left the harbor under sunny skies on a flat smooth ocean for a 1 hour coastal cruise up to the Malibu area. Hard to believe its October and we still have 80-90 degree weather on the beaches!     We arrived at the Malibu Pier after a super smooth boat ride and dropped anchor. After a quick paddleboard lesson for everyone, they were off exploring the incredible Malibu coastline.           After lunch I suggested we throw out the tow rope and pull them behind the boat on a paddleboard. They were all super excited and had a blast.       They had a very relaxing cruise back to the harbor laying in the sun out on the boats’ trampoline.      Come out and have your own...

Malibu Pier Boat & Paddleboarding Adventure

Late Summer Malibu Coastal Adventure

Posted by Dave Ogle on Aug 23, 2014 in Malibu Coastal Adventures | 0 comments We had the pleasure of taking out a great bunch of friends on a Malibu Coastal Adventure a couple days ago. Leaving  the harbor under overcast skies, we immediately found a huge pod of dolphin that played with the boat for about 15 minutes. Continuing up the coast to Malibu Beach, we came across another pod of dolphin just as the sun broke through.      After arriving at the Malibu Pier, we dropped anchor and had an awesome paddleboarding lesson. Everyone picked it up really quick and it soon became evident that getting them out of the water and back on the boat was going to be the most difficult.      The best way to tempt them out of the water was to offer them a chance to get towed behind the boat on the paddle boards. Everyone was ready for some more action!           Everyone was tired from a full day but happy for the ride home! Thanks Annette!!!...
