Good Friends Take A Malibu Coastal Adventure

We stopped by the ‘sea lion’ bouy to check out the sea lions. They seemed to be expecting us. A Fun Dolphin Watching / Paddle Boarding Adventure
Posted by Dave Ogle on Apr 10, 2015 in Malibu Coastal Adventures | 0 comments We took out 2 Pepperdine grads and their moms on a fun dolphin watching / paddle boarding adventure on a beautiful spring day. First stop… the sea lion bouy. On the way up to Malibu, we encountered multiple pods of dolphin that played with the boat and gave them quite a show. It was a beautiful ride up to the Malibu area. We arrived at the Malibu Pier, and after a quick paddleboard lesson they were off to explore our local waters. The daughters were adventurous and when I mentioned that they could be towed on the paddleboards behind the boat, they jumped at the chance. It was an awesome trip and a great way to finish their Malibu educational adventure! ...read more
A Fun Family Goes On a Boat Adventure With Their Dog
Posted by Dave Ogle on Apr 4, 2015 in Malibu Coastal Adventures | 0 comments It was a little overcast as we left the harbor, but everyone was in good spirits and the sun was predicted for the afternoon. We arrived at the ‘Seal Lion” bouy a short time later and they were greeted by a dozen of the cutest little sea lions all lounging around. The dog took great interest in these very ‘dog like’ creatures. On the way up to Malibu for some paddleboarding, we came across a huge pod of dolphin. They put on quite a show and, needless to say, the dog was fascinated by these unusual ocean creatures. We arrived at the Malibu Pier and wasted no time getting them out on paddleboards, and after a quick lesson they were off. While dad fished, the dog couldnt take seeing everyone out on the paddleboards and had to get in on the act. Everyone had a wonderful experience..especially the family...read more
Palos Verdes Peninsula Boat & Paddleboard Adventure
Posted by Dave Ogle on Mar 9, 2015 in Malibu Coastal Adventures | 1 comment We left the harbor on a summerlike day in March with a great group of friends. 15 minutes later we were at the ‘Sea Lion’ bouy and the sea lions were sun bathing and sleeping after a long morning of foraging for food. We arrived at the Palos Verdes Peninsula less than an hour later and after a quick paddleboard lesson, they were all out exploring the incredible coastline and kelp forests.
